Complete Die Program Management
K&S approaches machining as part of a fully integrated manufacturing system. By combining stamping, tooling, fabrication, and machining capabilities under one roof, we reduce handoffs, improve coordination, and strengthen quality control.
Our machining services support prototyping, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and full production components. This versatility allows us to meet diverse OEM requirements while maintaining consistent precision.
Large-Scale Machining with Precision Control
K&S offers machining capacity capable of handling demanding size and weight requirements. Our equipment supports turning up to a 17-inch diameter and in-bed machining capacity of up to 17,000 pounds. This allows us to accommodate large components and complex assemblies that require both stability and accuracy.
Our machining capabilities include horizontal and vertical milling, turning, grinding, and wire EDM. This range of equipment enables us to produce intricate geometries, tight tolerances, and specialty components across a variety of materials.
Horizontal and vertical machining centers support heavy-bed capacities, ensuring stable setups for larger workpieces. Turning operations accommodate components up to 17” diameter by 60” in length. Wire EDM capabilities, including submerged and CNC-controlled systems, allow for highly precise cuts and intricate detail work.
Grinding capabilities include Blanchard, wet, cylindrical, end, and profile grinding up to 48”, supporting surface finish requirements and dimensional refinement.
Through engineering oversight, advanced equipment, and disciplined process control, K&S delivers precision-machined components that meet demanding performance standards while supporting efficient program execution.
